Rockstar has revealed 6 GTA 6 radio stations so far: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics, and the previews on its music page confirm 18 songs. Rolling Stone reports that the hosts are real stars, from Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey to Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya. GTA 6 also adds on-demand podcasts and radio you can take on foot.
Every GTA 6 radio station so far
Official Rockstar announced the stations in a Newswire post on October 8, 2026. It calls in-game radio the series' most distinct musical element and says GTA 6 will have the biggest and widest-ranging selection yet, with stations dedicated to everything from Classic Rock to Talk Radio. These are the 6 it has shown:
| Station | What it plays | Hosts (Rockstar) | Voiced by, per Rolling Stone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cocoteo FM | Modern Latin: bachata, merengue, dembow, reggaeton | El Martillo and La Gata | Bad Bunny and RaiNao |
| Back Country Radio | Renegade country | MW and Delta Dawne, with reporter Mud Dog Mike | Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey and Jeremy Dufrene |
| AfroBank FM | African music, from 20th-century classics to amapiano and 3-step | Burna and Palmsy | Burna Boy and Palms Trax |
| The Chamber 106.6 | Metal from the '80s and beyond | DJ Kerry and DJ Tom | Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya |
| Flash FM | Pop | Robyn and Alex | Robyn and Alex Consani |
| Dirty South Classics | Regional rap and hip-hop classics | Trick and Trina | Trick Daddy and Trina |
Reported The last column comes from Rolling Stone's report on the announcement, and Gaming Age carries the same voice credits. Rockstar's own Newswire post and music page use only the DJ names, so treat the real identities as reported until Rockstar credits them itself.

GTA 6 radio stations, one by one
Cocoteo FM: modern Latin
Official Rockstar calls Cocoteo FM Leonida's home for the best of modern Latin music, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton. Its tagline is "el party que nunca se apaga," the party that never switches off. The hosts are El Martillo and La Gata.
Reported Rolling Stone reports that El Martillo is Bad Bunny and La Gata is fellow Puerto Rican singer-songwriter RaiNao. If so, Bad Bunny is on the station twice: on the mic, and in the preview with "EoO."

Back Country Radio: renegade country
Official MW and Delta Dawne blast renegade country to the Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and beyond. The station also has a roving reporter: Mud Dog Mike, its swamp meteorologist and, in Rockstar's words, Delta's not-so-secret lover, who checks in from the driver's seat of his Grassrivers airboat. Both regions are in our GTA 6 map guide.
Reported Rolling Stone reports that MW is Morgan Wallen and Delta Dawne is Lana Del Rey, and that Mud Dog Mike is played by Del Rey's husband, Jeremy Dufrene, who it says is an airboat captain in real life. It describes the station's music as classic and outlaw country. The preview runs David Allan Coe, Loretta Lynn, and Hank Williams Jr. with Waylon Jennings.

AfroBank FM: African music
Official Burna and Palmsy are AfroBank FM's "dynamic duo," curating African music from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to contemporary sounds like amapiano and 3-step. Rockstar's instruction: turn up the gbedu.
Reported Rolling Stone reports that Burna is Nigerian superstar Burna Boy and Palmsy is DJ Palms Trax. The preview has Asake, Pat Thomas with Ebo Taylor, and DJ Lag and Robot Boii with Kamo Mphela.

The Chamber 106.6: metal
Official Crushing metal has landed in Leonida, Rockstar says. DJ Kerry and DJ Tom play metal from the '80s and beyond and channel what Rockstar calls Leonida's deep metal roots.
Reported Rolling Stone reports the hosts are Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya. The preview is Black Sabbath, Pantera and Slayer's own "Raining Blood," so if the report is right, two members of Slayer are spinning a Slayer song.

Flash FM: pop
Official Rockstar calls Flash FM "the Vice City institution" for the best in pop music, hosted by Robyn and Alex and guaranteed to make you dance anywhere in the Goodtime State. The preview: Charli xcx, MGMT's "Electric Feel," and Zara Larsson with PinkPantheress.
Reported Gaming Age's credits say Robyn voices herself, and Rolling Stone names Alex as model and actress Alex Consani. Flash FM's history goes back to the original Vice City, more on that below.

Dirty South Classics: Southern rap
Official Trick and Trina bring "a little southern hospitality," blasting regional rap and hip-hop classics. From the beach to the block, Rockstar says, nobody reps Leonida and the South like they do.
Reported Rolling Stone reports they're Trick Daddy and Trina. The last song in the preview, DJ Khaled's "Born N Raised," features Trick Daddy alongside Rick Ross and Pitbull, so one of the hosts is also on the playlist.

The hosts: real stars behind the DJ names
Reported According to Rolling Stone, GTA 6's featured stations are hosted by some of the biggest names in music: Bad Bunny and RaiNao, Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey (with Jeremy Dufrene), Burna Boy and Palms Trax, Kerry King and Tom Araya, Robyn and Alex Consani, and Trick Daddy and Trina. Del Rey told the magazine that some of her family knew Los Angeles's roads the first time they arrived because they'd played GTA, and added:
On so many different levels this is super special and a privilege.
Lana Del Rey, to Rolling Stone
Famous DJs aren't new to the series. In GTA V, Kenny Loggins, Cara Delevingne and Flying Lotus all hosted stations. Our read: GTA 6's lineup is the most star-heavy yet, spread across Latin, country, African music, metal, pop and Southern rap.
Podcasts, headphones and radio on foot
Official For the first time in the series, GTA 6 has on-demand podcasts, which Rockstar says Jason and Lucia can listen to beyond Leonida's terrestrial radio. Official Radio and podcasts both work in vehicles and on foot, through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to the pair's smartphones.
That's a real change. In earlier GTAs, the radio lived in your car: get out and the music stopped. Now it can follow you down the street. Talk radio goes back at least to Chatterbox in GTA III, but on-demand podcasts are new. Rockstar hasn't named any podcasts or their hosts yet.
Expect plenty of fake advertising, too. Official Rob Nelson told IGN there are more radio and in-game TV ads than ever before; our IGN interview breakdown and our guide to what you can do in GTA 6 cover the rest of what Jason and Lucia's phones can do.
GTA VI: The Album
Official Separate from the radio, Rockstar is releasing Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, with 34 original tracks across what it calls a genre-defying roster of artists. You can pre-save it, or pre-order it on vinyl and CD at gtavi-thealbum.com. Official Rockstar's music page lists these singles so far:
| Single | Artist |
|---|---|
| That's It | Yung Lean ft. Future & Metro Boomin |
| RHYNO | Travis Scott |
| Sexy Magic | CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Etienne de Crécy |
| Last Thing You Need | Morgan Wallen |
| Macacoa 2000 | Rauw Alejandro |
| Bright Lights, Big City | Keith Richards |
Reported Rolling Stone says the album arrives on November 19, the same day as the game, and that a full track list hasn't been revealed. Official Rockstar promises more singles. Rockstar hasn't said whether the album's songs also play on the in-game radio.
Flash FM's return: a short history of Vice City radio
Flash FM is a name from GTA's past. In GTA Vice City (2002), it was the pop station, hosted by Toni and playing '80s pop. That game's dial also had V-Rock (hosted by Lazlow), Wave 103, Fever 105, Emotion 98.3, Wildstyle, Radio Espantoso with its salsa and mambo, and two talk stations, K-Chat and VCPR.
GTA 6 brings Vice City back, and some of its radio DNA with it. Flash FM returns under the same name. "Raining Blood" also played on V-Rock in 2002, and now it's in The Chamber's preview, 24 years later. Latin music has moved from Radio Espantoso's salsa and mambo to Cocoteo's dembow and reggaeton. And country continues from GTA V's Rebel Radio, hosted by Jesco White, to Back Country Radio. For the rest of Vice City's comeback, see our GTA 6 map guide.
What we still don't know
- How many stations there are. Rockstar named Classic Rock and Talk Radio in its announcement, but neither is among the 6 stations shown. Reported Gaming Age's copy of the announcement also lists Modern Hip-Hop, Dance, '80s, Electronic, Blues and Ballads.
- Which Vice City classics return. Flash FM is confirmed. Whether V-Rock, Wave 103, Fever 105 or Emotion 98.3 come back is our speculation, not anything Rockstar has said.
- The dynamic score. Rockstar says details on GTA 6's dynamic score are coming.
- The trailer songs. Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" from Trailer 1 and The Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together" from Trailer 2 haven't been confirmed for the in-game radio.
- The podcasts. No titles, hosts or topics yet.
- The full playlists and the album's track list. Rockstar has named 18 radio songs and 6 album singles so far.
Our take: radio is back at the center
Our read: this is Rockstar treating radio as a headline feature again. A star host on every station, a classic name returning to Vice City and a full album on launch day put GTA 6's music in the spotlight, and headphones and earbuds mean you'll hear it far more often, not just when you're driving.
It also fits Leonida. Latin, Southern rap, swamp country and an '80s pop institution read like a map of the Florida-inspired state. The big missing pieces are classic rock and talk radio, where GTA's satire has traditionally lived, and the podcasts. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; see our release date guide or the countdown.
